I recently applied to become an EMT at a local community college in my area. The application took about an hour and I had to send it through the post office. This is different how it used to be before the pandemic of 2020 where you could just take your application to the college.
Since I am still enrolled at Emory University in Atlanta and most (if not all) of those classes are going to be synchronous I decided to take night classes to become an EMT.
It is only going to be one semester which is great because I want to use my certification as much as possible. It is also only 4 days a week from 6:00pm to 10:30pm.
I am also interested in getting my phlebotomy certification since they are always in high demand and I would like to be a pro at starting IVs and drawing blood. This might be done during the spring semester but I may be able to get it done this semester depending on how heavy my course load is.
During the Fall semester I plan on taking Physics, Calculus, Accounting, Writing, and Statistics. If I don't get into the physics class that works with my schedule I will probably drop it and pick up Business Economics.
Remember to work on being your best self everyday!
